ENA’s upcoming drama “The Defects” has teased the dynamic between Yum Jung Ah and Won Jin Ah!
Based on a popular webtoon, “The Defects” is an action thriller about children who have been abandoned by their adoptive parents—and their fight for survival and revenge.

Yum Jung Ah plays Kim Se Hee, a celebrity doctor who is outwardly respected in the medical field but secretly leads an illegal adoption trafficking ring. Won Jin Ah portrays Kim Ah Hyun, a young woman who was returned after being adopted through a broken system, but miraculously survived.
Yum Jung Ah returns as the ultimate villain, taking on one of the most sinister roles of her career, while Won Jin Ah challenges herself in her first action role. Together, they are set to deliver gripping performances as two characters with polar opposite beliefs, set against the backdrop of a shocking world shaped by illegal adoptions.
In the newly released stills, the two actors, fully immersed in their roles, immediately draw attention. Kim Se Hee, who hides a ruthless nature behind her polished appearance, is shown pursuing Kim Ah Hyun, the child who survived. Her expression remains cold and unchanged, even in the face of the children’s desperate cries, intensifying the scene’s overwhelming tension.
Yum Jung Ah’s signature blend of intensity and subtlety further emphasizes the character’s cruelty, once again proving her talent.
Won Jin Ah delivers an emotional performance with a tone completely different from her previous roles. In the stills, Kim Ah Hyun bursts with anger at Kim Se Hee’s relentless cruelty.
