Yoon Doojoon and Kim Seul Gi are gearing up for their reunion on the small screen!
tvN’s “The Catstody War” (literal title), a one-act drama that is part of tvN’s O’PENing 2025 series, will tell the story of a couple on the verge of divorce who becomes embroiled in a fierce custody battle—not over a child, but over their beloved cat, whom they’ve raised like family.
Yoon Doojoon and Kim Seul Gi will portray Kim Do Young and Lee Yoo Jin, a married couple of five years. After struggling with infertility, they adopted a stray cat and formed a tight-knit family—only to eventually reach the decision to part ways.
The newly released poster and teaser depict the custody battle between Kim Do Young and Lee Yoo Jin over their cat Nori. The poster captures the cold atmosphere between the two with Nori between them, along with the text, “We can agree on divorce but not on cat custody.”
The teaser preview questions, “Who can provide a better environment to raise Nori?” Kim Do Young argues, “I won’t leave Nori alone,” while debating who can buy more Churu cat treats for Nori. The teaser raises anticipation for who will ultimately win custody of Nori.
Previously, “The Catstody War” garnered attention with eye-catching preview teasers announcing Yoon Doojoon and Kim Seul Gi’s reunion on the small screen after 10 years since starring in “Splash Splash Love” together.
