MBC’s upcoming drama “Mary Kills People” has released a thrilling new teaser!
A remake of the Canadian series of the same name, “Mary Kills People” stars Lee Bo Young as Woo So Jung, a doctor who illegally provides euthanasia to patients with incurable illnesses. Lee Min Ki will play Jo Hyun Woo, a terminally ill patient with a brain tumor.
The new teaser begins with Woo So Jung telling a priest, “As a doctor, the only thing I can do for a patient for whom treatment is difficult is lessening their pain. If the only way to do that is death, then I want to give them that treatment, Father.”
The video then cuts to Woo So Jung asking someone, “Do you want to end it?” With the police seemingly hot on her trail, Jo Hyun Woo warns her, “What you’re doing is murder.” However, Woo So Jung is unfazed, and as she approaches a patient with a pillow, she says breathlessly, “I’m sorry.”
Amidst flashes of a deadly car chase and Woo So Jung pointing a gun at someone, the teaser ends with Woo So Jung promising, “I’ll take responsibility. I can do it.”
