KBS2 TV’s upcoming drama “Walking On Thin Ice” has shared a new teaser!
“Walking On Thin Ice” follows Kang Eun Soo (Lee Young Ae), a parent determined to protect her family, and Lee Kyung (Kim Young Kwang), a two-faced teacher, as they are drawn into a dangerous, desperate partnership after stumbling upon a bag of drugs.
Lee Young Ae stars as Kang Eun Soo, a mother who once lived an ordinary life but is pushed to the brink overnight when her husband’s illness worsens and the family plunges into financial ruin. One day, she finds a suspicious bag left behind by someone and becomes unexpectedly connected to her daughter’s after-school art teacher, Lee Kyung. This partnership ultimately drives her to cross a forbidden line.
The released teaser gives a glimpse of Kang Eun Soo’s difficult journey as she fights to protect her ordinary life. One scene shows her cautiously opening the bag of drugs with a determined look on her face, heightening the tension. The teaser highlights the relationship between her and Lee Kyung, which quickly shifts from parent-teacher to a dangerous partnership.
An intense motorcycle chase scene and the eerie atmosphere of unfamiliar places highlight just how far Eun Soo’s life has strayed from ordinary. The teaser concludes with Eun Soo saying, “Nothing happened,” with a smile and a resigned look on her face, hinting at an impending tragedy and deepening curiosity about her ultimate fate.
The production team commented, “The first teaser ironically captures how Eun Soo’s once-ordinary life is pushed to the edge, and the immense tragedy hidden beneath her quiet surrender. Even in this short video, the stark contrast between Lee Young Ae’s detailed emotional acting and Kim Young Kwang’s duality delivers extreme suspense. The dangerous partnership between them will have viewers immersed in the drama from start to finish.”
