Netflix’s upcoming drama “Trigger” has unveiled a thrilling new preview video ahead of its premiere today!
“Trigger” is an action-packed thriller drama set in South Korea, a country known for its strict gun control laws. The story follows two men who, for their own reasons, take up arms amidst a rising wave of illegal firearms mysteriously appearing across the nation that leads to an unprecedented surge in gun-related crimes.
The new video opens with Lee Do (Kim Nam Gil) sneaking into a house at night, searching cautiously for something. Suddenly, he hears a noise and confronts a mysterious man, wielding a hammer in an attempt to capture him.
The man reveals himself as Moon Baek (Kim Young Kwang), insisting he is innocent. “I came to pick something up. A package,” he says. The two then engage in a tense conversation inside the house.
Moon Baek complains about why Lee Do didn’t identify himself as a police officer and questions why he is carrying a hammer. When Lee Do asks about Moon Baek’s connection to the house’s owner, Moon Baek claims he doesn’t know the man but reveals he received a package containing bullets and a well-organized address list. He explains that he was surveilling the house when the resident suddenly rushed out, and upon checking the box, found it empty.
The teaser ends with Lee Do sensing something suspicious and making a phone call—hinting at the deeper mystery about to unfold.
