JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” has released its first teaser!
Set in the 1980s, “A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic coming-of-age romance drama about the friendship between two young bus attendants, Go Young Rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun).
The teaser begins by showing the hectic early mornings at the bus attendant dormitory, where the lights turn on at 4 a.m. sharp. After a flurry of activity, including group warm-up exercises and attendance checks, the bus attendants hurry to their jobs in order to be prepared for the morning rush hour.
The clip then shows Go Young Rye working hard to squeeze as many passengers as possible into each bus by pushing on their backs with all her might.
The arrival of Seo Jong Hee, a new attendant with a confident twinkle in her eye, injects a breath of fresh air into Go Young Rye’s dreary routine. Both young girls have their own ambitions: Young Rye, who dreams of going to college, stays up at night studying with a flashlight. Meanwhile, Jong Hee’s goal is to become Miss Korea.
However, amidst the budding friendship between the two attendants, who have fun laughing and chatting while also encouraging each other to pursue their ambitions, there is a hint of trouble. The brief appearance of Han Jae Pil, who will shake up the close friendship between Go Young Rye and Seo Jong Hee, teases the love triangle to come.
“A Hundred Memories” will premiere on September 13 at 10:40 p.m. KST. Check out the new teaser below!
