The upcoming weekend drama “Our Golden Days” has shared a new teaser!
“Our Golden Days” is a generational family drama built around the idea that everyone has their own golden era—be it in the past, present, or future. The story explores how people encounter and reflect on those meaningful moments in life.
The newly released teaser highlights the struggles of Lee Ji Hyuk (Jung Il Woo) and his family, who all become unemployed overnight. Ji Hyuk, the eldest son, boldly hands in his resignation; his younger brother Lee Ji Wan (Son Sang Yeon) is laid off, the youngest sibling Lee Soo Bin (Shin Soo Hyun) is practically unemployed, and their father Lee Sang Chul (Chun Ho Jin) has just retired.
The teaser also shows Ji Hyuk doing manual labor, Sang Chul revising his resume, and Ji Wan and Soo Bin finding their own ways to make a living.
Kim Da Jung (Kim Hee Jung) and Jo Ok Rye (Ban Hyo Jung) are also featured in the teaser. One scene shows Da Jung walking the streets in tears, while another features Ok Rye looking at a job flyer stating that recruitment is also open to senior citizens.
At the end of the video, Ji Hyuk is shown standing on a bridge, saying, “I don’t want to live like this.” His troubled expression and effort to suppress his emotions heighten curiosity about the hardships to come.
