A trailer has been unveiled for “BOYS II PLANET”!
The second season of the hit survival show “BOYS PLANET,” which gave rise to the project group ZEROBASEONE, “BOYS II PLANET” is a global K-pop project where fans from around the world help produce and launch a top-tier boy group.
The show was originally intended to air as two separate audition programs—“BOYS II PLANET K” and “BOYS II PLANET C”—with each show debuting its own boy group. However, Mnet later changed the format so that as the competition progresses, the two narratives will eventually converge into one, ultimately leading to the debut of a single boy group instead of two separate groups.
The trailer released on July 7 gives a glimpse of what is to come in the early episodes of “BOYS II PLANET K.”
As the contestants arrive for the level test, it is revealed that the competition will be strictly hierarchy-based. The contestants will be divided into ALL STAR, TWO STAR, and ONE STAR, and survival or elimination will be determined solely by rank. Contestants who are deemed not worthy of a rank will be NO STAR and will be eliminated immediately.
The contestants begin their level tests with several of them impressing each other and the masters with their skills. The clip then shows the entrance of the contestants who have already debuted before, demonstrating their experience through their confidence and skilled performances. Also spotlighted is Yumeki, a well-known dancer from 1MILLION who is participating as a contestant. Despite his strong dance skills, the masters raise concern about his vocal abilities.
As the competition officially begins, a tense atmosphere unfolds with the masters expressing disappointment about as contestants shed tears.
The trailer ends with Ong Seong Wu as a special guest as he introduces the first encounter between “BOYS II PLANET K” and “BOYS II PLANET C.”
