SBS’s idol survival show “B:MY BOYZ” has kicked off its third round of competition!
“B:MY BOYZ” is a boy group survival show in which top idols participate directly in choosing which contestants (known as “B:GINNERS”) make the final debut lineup.
Round 3, which began this week and features Wanna One as its top idol, is a “B:GINNER’s Pick Match” in which contestants were able to choose their own teams. The four teams of six members each were determined by the contestants choosing one of four hit songs by Wanna One: “Energetic,” “Beautiful,” “BOOMERANG,” and “Burn It Up.”
Based on the results of the surprise mission from last week’s episode, starting with the lowest-ranked contestant and gradually moving up to the highest, each of the contestants had the chance to choose the song they wanted to perform. However, if all six spots on a team were already filled, the higher-ranking contestants were able to join the team by sending one of the current members elsewhere.
There was also a special twist: every team had to sing the second verse of the song they chose and the first verse of the song chosen by their opponent.
In the first battle, the “Energetic” team and “Beautiful” team went head-to-head. The breakdown of the teams were as follows:

The show only aired the first half of the “BOOMERANG” performance during its broadcast, but SBS posted both the “BOOMERANG” and the “Burn It Up” performances in full on YouTube. Check them both out below!
