A viral video of BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and Jisoo refusing to sign something has sparked mixed reactions.

BLACKPINK has been in the US for their DEADLINE show, and a recent video of Jennie and Jisoo returning to their hotel has sparked mixed reactions.
In the clip, some fans were waiting at the hotel for the members and as the car pulled up, the bodyguard saw someone who seemingly wanted a signature and was explaining to move back.
As Jennie left the car, she motioned to the person before walking straight into the hotel.
Jisoo then made her way out of the car and into the hotel.
The video garnered a lot of attention.

Some netizens criticized the idols for not signing and treating the fans poorly, when there weren’t many.
Yet, most of the comments were positive, as netizens pointed out that rather than a fan, the person wanting a signature was seemingly known as someone who sells items that celebrities sell. In particular, many respected the bodyguards’ forcefulness and protection of Jennie and Jisoo, particularly as it was their private time following their performance, and they would just want privacy. Others added that there just seems to be a wave of hate following the members, especially Jennie.
It is common for people to wait for celebrities to sell items signed by them.
