A shocking incident of a celebrity’s abusive behavior toward their manager was unveiled in a recent video published by tvN, sparking furor.
On June 27, KST, tvN’s Free Doctor M released a preview of its upcoming episode, teasing some behind-the-scenes stories about celebrities as shared by entertainment journalists. Veteran reporter Choi Jung Ah talked about a particularly rude celebrity who lounged on the sofa and kept fiddling with the phone during an interview.
Another journalist made an even more damning revelation about this particular celebrity, accusing them of treating their manager horribly. The reporter recalled an incident where the celebrity asked the manager to go back to their home and separate the trash for recycling.
The preview video also revealed text messages allegedly sent by the celebrity to their manager at very early hours. Some of the harsh words used in the messages included, “Someone like you shouldn’t make a living as a manager,” and “If you’re going to work like that, just quit. You should be grateful that I even hired you.”
The manager’s meek responses were also revealed in the screenshots, pleading with the celebrity, saying, “I’m sorry, I’ll do better next time.”
These textual exchanges and journalist testimonies have sparked public anger, with many speculating about the celebrity’s identity. Netizens have also demanded accountability if the allegations are proven to be true.
The full episode, which will deal with stories about multiple celebrities, will air next week.
