ENA’s upcoming drama “The Defects” has shared a new glimpse of its cast behind the scenes of filming!
Based on a popular webtoon, “The Defects” is an action thriller about children who have been abandoned by their adoptive parents—and their fight for survival and revenge.
Newly released behind-the-scenes photos from the drama capture stars Yum Jung Ah, Won Jin Ah, Dex, Choi Young Joon, Ahn Ji Ho, and Oh Seung Jun on the filming set. Whether poring over the script, monitoring takes, or discussing scenes with the director and crew, the actors display passion and focus as they give the drama their all.
However, when the cast isn’t locked in, the atmosphere on set is cheerful and full of laughter. In contrast to her villainous role in the drama, Yum Jung Ah exudes a warm, relaxed vibe when she isn’t in character. Won Jin Ah also poses playfully for the camera, offering a glimpse of her real-life personality.
Describing her experience working on the action scenes with her co-stars, Won Jin Ah recalled, “I remember gathering in the gym and practicing together for each and every scene. Thanks to [all that practice], the actors developed a lot of trust in one another, and I also built a strong bond with the action actors, so I was able to trust and rely on them as if we shared one body.”
“The Defects” will premiere on July 21 at 10 p.m. KST.
