Who do you think it will be?
According to beauty insiders, cosmetics brand Hera has parted ways with BLACKPINK’s Jennie, who had been their advertising model for six years.
She first modeled for the brand in 2019 and has been spreading the “Seoul Beauty Philosophy,” which is based on Seoul culture, to the world with Jennie.
With Jennie at the forefront, the brand has experienced the “Jennie Effect” with many products given titles such as the “Jennie cushion” and the “Jennie tint.”
It was also reported that they have decided to go their separate ways naturally.
Stray Kids’ Felix has been mentioned in terms of choosing their next model as he was previously spotted with a Hera cushion on his bag at Incheon International Airport. In particular, the cushion had his name engraved in English on the front.
Previously, Felix had been seen wearing Gongcha merchandise on his bag before being selected as the Gongcha advertisement model. As more rumors spread online, fans feel he could be a strong candidate for Hera’s new model.
Meanwhile, Amore Pacific responded, “It is true that Hera ended its model contract with Jennie,” but did not give details about the next model.
However, many netizens were not too happy with the thought of a male idol for its model.

- “It’s so random to use a male idol…”
- “Huh? Felix?”
- “Can we please stop using male idols for beauty brand models?”
- “What do you mean, Felix? For a brand that focuses on female makeup products.”
- “Felix kind of suits the brand, though.”
- “I hate using male idols for beauty brands.”
- “Why do they keep using guys for women’s cosmetic brands?”
