During the 79th episode of the YouTube show “Pinggyego”, which was published on June 21 on the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun, actress Song Ji-hyo shared an emotional update on the progress of her underwear brand.
In particular, when appearing alongside “Running Man” cast members Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Ji Suk-jin, and Ji Ye-eun, Song Ji-hyo reflected on her entrepreneurial journey. When Yoo Jae Suk asked how her business was doing these days, she responded with a heartfelt smile, “It’s doing so much better now. We’ve launched a second product and I’m working hard.”
Her emotional tone prompted Ji Suk-jin to jokingly ask if she was getting choked up, to which Haha quickly jumped in with a quip, saying, “She’s not emotional – she just forgot the word she wanted to say!”
Laughter filled the room, but the mood stayed warm as Ji Suk-jin praised Song Ji-hyo for wearing her own brand’s clothing on the show, stating, “It’s really cool to see Ji-hyo, as a business owner, confidently wearing her own brand.” He even revealed that after showcasing custom pajamas made by Ji-hyo on his own channel, there had received requests to manufacture them.
However, Song Ji-hyo politely declined, “No way. It was so hard making even just one for you. I thought I was going to die,” to which Suk-jin joked back without missing a beat, “If you’re selling products, you can’t say it’s hard! That’s not how it works.”
Once known for struggling to sell even one item a day, Song Ji-hyo now celebrates the launch of her second product – an encouraging milestone in her journey as a “celebrity entrepreneur”.
