A top girl group is taking over a poll, snagging multiple spots thanks to their dedicated fans!
SNH48 is a Chinese idol girl group that debuted back in 2012. Until 2018, it was a sister group of the popular Japanese girl group AKB48. SNH48 is popular in China, but it seems to be especially beloved by the lesbian community!
An annual Chinese poll, “Chinese Lesbians’ Favorite Female Stars,” is currently underway, and so far, SNH48 is wiping out the competition. Wang Yi, who announced her departure from the group and her plans to sue her agency in May, is currently ranking at #1.
A total of 18 current and former SNH48 idols, including Yang YiQi (#6), Zheng DanNi (#9), and Zuo Jingyuan (#11), have reportedly made it into the Top 100 so far, with 13 of them ranking in the Top 50.
