KBS2’s “The First Night with the Duke” has dropped new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

In the previous episodes, Cha Sun Chaek and Yi Beon have finally confirmed their feelings for each other and officially begun their romance. Despite the countless obstacles they’ve faced, their love has only grown stronger.
However, Cha Sun Chaek’s father Cha Ho Yeol (Seo Hyun Chul), who has always hoped his daughter would stay far away from the dangerous and complicated affairs of the royal family, once again rejected Yi Beon, turning him away at the door when he came with a marriage proposal. Especially since Yi Beon has been causing Sun Chaek to stay out overnight more often, Ho Yeol has taken to calling him a “daughter thief” and remains firmly opposed to their marriage, leaving viewers wondering how their wedding plans will unfold.
The newly released stills tease yet another shocking moment for Cha Ho Yeol. In the photos, Sun Chaek is holding a bouquet of roses while Yi Beon pins her against a wall in a charismatic and romantic gesture. With their eyes locked and their lips about to meet, they radiate the sweetness of a couple in the early days of love.
But their tender moment is cut short when Cha Ho Yeol walks in, his icy glare filled with seething anger. Sun Chaek and Yi Beon freeze in shock at his sudden appearance, leaving viewers curious to see how this tense confrontation will end.
