They’ve already accomplished so much.
A newly debuted boy group has become a hot topic following their music show win.
For the July 11 edition of Music Bank, aespa‘s “Dirty Work” was nominated against AHOF‘s “Rendezvous,” with the boy group securing the win by over 1500 votes.

While any music show win is a big accomplishment, this win, against a massively popular established group like aespa, has gained attention for the group because AHOF debuted just one week prior.
AHOF was formed through the survival show Universe League, which aired in late 2024. The show gained attention for its unique premise, featuring a sports-like trading system that the trainees participated in.

The final lineup, consisting of former LUMINOUS‘s Steven, Jeongwoo, Shuaibo, PLUUS‘s JL, Juwon, Chihen, Daisuke, former TO1‘s Cha Woongki, and Han, officially debuted on July 1 with “Rendezvous. The song’s music video has 27 million views, an outstanding number for a rookie group outside a large label.
Even more impressively, the win against aespa was not their first or second, but their third for their debut! Many netizens, including fans of aespa, praised the group for their win and named them a strong contender for any Rookie Of The Year awards.
Against aespa? Wow. Congrats to them. They’re like a week old rookie group. But i find their vocals top notch. https://t.co/nqMYV9KfhR
