A male contestant from the popular South Korean dating show I Am Solo has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a woman.

According to the Mapo Police Station in Seoul, a man in his 30s — identified only by his surname Park so far — was taken into custody on June 21 and formally arrested after a court approved a detention warrant the following evening. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s around 3:30 AM in a parking lot in the Mapo District.
Police say they arrested Park on the spot and moved quickly to secure a warrant for his detention.
Park is currently appearing on I Am Solo, a reality dating program jointly produced by ENA and SBS Plus. The show brings together single men and women who are seriously looking to get married, often sharing personal struggles and genuine emotions as they go through a series of blind dates and group activities. Park had also been featured on the program’s spin-off, I Am Solo: Love Continues.
The case has drawn significant public attention, as I Am Solo is known for its raw and realistic approach to dating and relationships, earning a loyal following for its unscripted and emotionally charged format.
As of now, neither the production team nor the broadcasters have released an official statement regarding Park’s arrest.
