In a recent episode of “Hyo’s Level Up”, SM Entertainment’s rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts made a special guest appearance, where one of the youngest members, Stella, left Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon — and viewers — speechless with a surprising “fun fact” about her debut adventure.
While chatting about how she got cast, Stella shared that she was scouted by a staggering 32 K-Pop agencies, including SM. The story came up when Hyoyeon asked how she ended up joining the company.
I went to a training academy for a while, and they held this unique group audition. All the students there performed on stage — singing and dancing. About 60 company scouts came to watch, and one of the companies that chose me was SM.
