She was fired for using police resources to stalk the singer.
An ex-police officer was recently apprehended by the police for stalking a popular singer.
According to a TV Chosun report on June 27, KST, a former officer, identified as Ms. A, was arrested on June 21, after causing disturbance outside a private residence.

Around 1 am on June 21, Ms. A knocked on the front door and rang the doorbell of a private residence. She initially left after being confronted by first responders, but returned shortly after and was caught pressing her back against the door, trying to eavesdrop on sounds coming from inside the house. The police chased her away again, but she returned around four hours later.
Ms. A reportedly had an existing restraining order against her, which had been in effect since December of last year and was listed in March. Police re-applied for a new restraining order but she showed up again before the court’s decision was made. Hence, she was taken into custody.
Ms. A had previously been charged with unlawfully entering a residential building multiple times since July of last year. She also constantly made false reports claiming that someone was trapped inside the house or that a sexual assault was occurring inside. She had made an astonishing 230 false reports in total.
Ms. A apparently believed that the house belonged to a popular trot singer and committed the crimes, trying to invade the singer’s privacy. But in reality, the property was owned by an ordinary person who simply resembled the singer.
In April of last year, Ms. A used an internal police network to obtain the singer’s address and went to their residence. Consequently, she was suspended from her position and officially dismissed from the police force after a disciplinary hearing in February.
