Upcoming drama “Confidence Queen” has released new character posters introducing its three leads!
A Korean adaptation of the 2018 Japanese drama “The Confidence Man JP,” “Confidence Queen” will tell the story of three talented con artists who pull off elaborate scams targeting villains from all walks of life.
Park Min Young stars in the drama as Yoon Yi Rang, a genius con artist with an IQ of 165. As the brilliant leader of the team, Yoon Yi Rang confidently stares down the camera in her poster, which bears the caption: “Try imagining what will happen.”
Park Hee Soon will star as the seductive and charming James, who is a reliable pillar of emotional support for his team. In his poster, he playfully warns, “Be careful. If you let your guard down, your heart will be stolen.”
Finally, Joo Jong Hyuk will play Myung Gu Ho, the youngest member of the team. The quick-to-act Myung Gu Ho believes in justice and has a cute innocence about him, but he also has a bit of a bumbling side. In his poster, he declares, “Look forward to the day when the world becomes a clean place.”
The “Confidence Queen” production team commented, “In their character posters, Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk fully conveyed the allure of Yoon Yi Rang, James, and Myung Gu Ho, who will steal viewers’ hearts with their explosive charms.”
They added, “Please tune in to ‘Confidence Queen’ to see how the three of them take revenge on villains.”
“Confidence Queen” will premiere on September 6 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
