The upcoming film “No Other Choice” has released new stills featuring Park Hee Soon!
“No Other Choice” tells the story of Man Soo (Lee Byung Hun), an office worker who once felt completely satisfied with life—until he’s suddenly laid off. Determined to protect his wife, two children, and the home they worked so hard to buy, he prepares for a personal battle to find a new job.
Seon Chul (Park Hee Soon), who manages to hold onto his position as a team leader at a successful paper company despite the industry’s downturn, evokes Man Soo’s envy and jealousy with his laid-back attitude toward everything. Park Hee Soon convincingly portrays the complex character of Seon Chul—someone who seems to have it all, treats people with a cheerful attitude, yet has a vulnerable side. His chemistry with Lee Byung Hun, who plays Man Soo, effortlessly shifts between tension and humor, adding a unique charm to the film.
Park Hee Soon commented, “Seon Chul is a character with a lot of internal conflict, so staying centered was key.”
Director Park Chan Wook remarked, “I wanted to see actor Park Hee Soon play a character with extreme emotional ups and downs and unpredictable traits, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity.”
