The stars of tvN’s “Our Unwritten Seoul” shared their emotional final thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!
“Our Unwritten Seoul” is a drama about twin sisters with polar-opposite personalities who lead completely different lives. Park Bo Young plays identical twins Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, who look alike but are different in every other way.
With just one episode left in the drama’s run, the three leads took a moment to look back on “Our Unwritten Seoul” and what it meant to them.
Park Bo Young remarked, “I think the time I spent on the drama ‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ will remain in my memory for a long time. Just as twins Mi Ji and Mi Rae, who understand one another the best, live each other’s lives, I hope that this story can be another kind of comfort to someone who is living in this very moment.”
“Every single day, yesterday is already over, tomorrow is far away, and today is still uncertain,” continued Park Bo Young. “But as I go about living—sometimes with full force, sometimes with a laissez-faire attitude—I have faith that in these moments, Mi Ji on the right and Mi Rae on the left will become another me and offer support. I’m grateful for the great waves of love you gave ‘Our Unwritten Seoul.’”
Meanwhile, GOT7’s Jinyoung shared, “I was truly grateful and happy to be able to meet viewers through ‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ as Ho Su after my military discharge.”
Expressing a deep fondness for his character, Jinyoung went on, “I felt and tried to convey that Lee Ho Su is a character whose heart moves before he speaks. The caring gaze of Ho Su, who quietly watches and waits for someone, stayed with me for a long time. Because of that, I wanted to act with even more sincerity. I hope that his sincere feelings for Mi Ji also reached viewers as well. I think that the character of Ho Su will remain and breathe inside me for a long time.”
Finally, Ryu Kyung Soo commented, “‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ is a drama that gave me great comfort and courage at a time when I was exhausted. I, too, became an avid viewer, and I enjoyed laughing and crying along with each episode and being moved deeply as the story resonated with me. I think that if this drama gave someone the courage to take even one step forward, it would be so deeply meaningful that I couldn’t wish for anything else.”
“If, even at this very moment, there are people who are struggling to find their way out of deep darkness, I hope that they will find the courage to walk towards the light together with ‘Our Unwritten Seoul,’” he continued. “I hope that this drama became a good memory for our viewers.”
The final episode of “Our Unwritten Seoul” will air on June 29 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
