“Noise” is off to a promising start at the Korean box office!
On July 13, the Korean Film Council officially announced that as of the day prior, “Noise” had reached a total of 1,063,796 moviegoers. The film was originally released on June 25, meaning that it took 18 days to hit the 1 million mark.
In honor of “Noise” reaching the milestone, stars Lee Sun Bin, Han Soo Ah, and Kim Min Seok all shared photos of themselves holding up handwritten messages thanking audiences for showing the film so much love.
“Noise” is a horror film about the mysterious events that occur to Joo Young (Lee Sun Bin) and her younger sister Joo Hee (Han Soo Ah) after they move into a new apartment. One day, Joo Hee disappears without a trace from the apartment, leaving Joo Young and Joo Hee’s boyfriend Ki Hoon (Kim Min Seok) to face a terrifying situation as they search the apartment building to find Joo Hee—as well as the source of the disturbing noise.
