Netflix is launching a brand-new guesthouse reality show with Yoo Jae Suk!
On July 11, Netflix announced the production of “Yoo Jae Suk’s Camp” (literal title), a new reality show where Yoo Jae Suk will run his own guesthouse.
Produced by PD Jung Hyo Min and his team at Studio Modak—known for hits like “Kian’s Bizarre B&B” and “Hyori’s Homestay,” and who previously worked with Yoo Jae Suk on “Two Yoo Project Sugar Man” and “Laborhood on Hire”—the show will highlight the fun and charm of guesthouse owners with distinct personalities, showcasing the unexpected chemistry that develops between the staff and guests.
Guest recruitment begins on July 12. In the newly released announcement video, Yoo Jae Suk declares, “A unique new attempt on Netflix! I’m opening a camp,” as he playfully dances in full summer camp attire while blowing a whistle. With the witty catchphrase, “The guests are kings. And I’m also king,” he adds, “If you want to come have fun with me, apply right now,” further amping up excitement for the show.
Co-director Lee So Min shared, “I’m thrilled to present a new guesthouse variety show with Yoo Jae Suk, who is the face of Korean variety entertainment. ‘Yoo Jae Suk’s Camp’ will be a uniquely entertaining guesthouse program infused with Yoo Jae Suk’s humor, empathy, and rich variety show history.”
