Upcoming superhero drama “Twelve” has unveiled a new poster!
Inspired by the 12 zodiac animals of the East, “Twelve” tells the story of 12 angels living in the human world in human form to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits. Long ago, the angels barely managed to seal the forces of evil in the gates of hell through their sacrifice, bringing peace. However, with the evil spirits awakening, chaos returns.
The newly released poster teases explosive synergy as characters with distinct personalities and colors come together as one. The stylized use of the Roman numeral XII to represent the title “Twelve” adds a striking visual structure and highlights the drama’s worldbuilding.
Tae San (Ma Dong Seok) is a fierce and charismatic leader who embodies the strength of a tiger. Opposite him stands Ogui (Park Hyung Sik), a cold and menacing force of evil. Facing in opposite directions, they hint at a destined clash, symbolizing their conflicting beliefs and goals as Tae San fights to protect the world while Ogui seeks to rule it.
Adding to the ensemble is Ma Rok (Sung Dong Il), the overseer of the angels who brings a commanding presence that anchors the group. Alongside him, the angels—Won Seung (Seo In Guk), Mir (Lee Joo Bin), Doni (Go Kyu Pil), Gang Ji (Kang Mina), Jwi Dol (Sung Yoo Bin), Mal Sook (Ahn Ji Hye), and Bang Wool (Regina Lei)—each bring their own energy and fight against evil forces with extraordinary abilities.
“Twelve” is an 8-episode series that will premiere on August 23.
