Korean dance powerhouse Lia Kim is returning to the iconic Mnet stage—this time, not as a contestant, but as a special judge.
According to exclusive reports from OSEN on June 23, Lia Kim will serve as a special judge for the Mega Crew Mission, a pivotal challenge in Mnet’s World of Street Woman Fighter (WSWF).
The show, directed by Kwon Young-chan CP and Choi Jung-nam PD, is the third installment of Mnet’s blockbuster franchise. It introduces a brand-new international format, drawing global attention even before airing.
Lia Kim, who led 1MILLION in Street Woman Fighter 2, left a lasting impact with her commanding choreography and memorable stage presence. Her Mega Crew Mission stage from that season has surpassed 12 million views on YouTube, becoming one of the series’ most celebrated moments. Now, she returns to WSWF not as a performer, but as a judge—bringing her journey with the series full circle.
Lia Kim started as a street dancer before rising through the ranks in global competitions. She later co-founded 1MILLION Dance Studio, which gained international acclaim. Her choreography credits include smash hits for TWICE, Sunmi, IU, and many more. In 2019, she became the first choreographer to receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation at the Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards—solidifying her position as a symbol of K-dance excellence.
Her judging role comes at a critical point in the competition, especially with Korea’s representative crew BUMSUP drawing buzz for their bold Mega Crew performance. With Lia Kim—who once defined the mission herself—stepping in as a judge, fans can expect next-level insight and scrutiny.
