Lee Dong Wook is facing yet another crisis in tonight’s episode of JTBC’s “The Nice Guy”!
“The Nice Guy” is a noir romance drama starring Lee Dong Wook as Park Seok Chul, the eldest son of a gangster family who has an unexpectedly pure heart, and Lee Sung Kyung as his first love Kang Mi Young, a woman who dreams of becoming a singer.
Spoilers
In the previous episode, Park Seok Chul and Kang Tae Hoon (Park Hoon) engaged in a tense standoff with Mi Young caught in the middle—hinting at the start of an irreparable rift between the two friends. To make matters worse, Tae Hoon mistakenly believed that Seok Chul was plotting to kill him, further raising the stakes.
Newly released stills capture the two men sitting down for an uneasy meal. It’s their first time meeting face-to-face in a while, but even over shared drinks, the tension between them is palpable. What could they be discussing while keeping their true thoughts hidden?
Other photos show Seok Chul in the midst of a sudden accident. His face, cast in a foreboding red glow, foreshadows the danger closing in. A previous teaser showed him confronting Tae Hoon’s subordinate Cheon Ho (Han Min) through a car window—implying that this may be much more than a simple traffic mishap. Seok Chul barely manages to escape the vehicle, clearly shaken by the shock. Could Tae Hoon be the one behind the incident that nearly cost Seok Chul his life?
The next two episodes of “The Nice Guy” will air on August 15 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
