JTBC’s “The Nice Guy” has shared a sneak peek of Lee Dong Wook and Lee Sung Kyung on a romantic date!
“The Nice Guy” is a new noir romance drama starring Lee Dong Wook as Park Seok Chul, the eldest son of a gangster family who has an unexpectedly pure heart, and Lee Sung Kyung as his first love Kang Mi Young, a woman who dreams of becoming a singer.

Previously on “The Nice Guy,” Kang Mi Young finally got to stand on the stage that she had dreamed of for so long, thanks to Park Seok Chul’s behind-the-scenes help. She was also shocked to learn that back during their high school days, Seok Chul had sought out the bullies that tormented her, ultimately leading to his expulsion from school.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Seok Chul and Mi Young enjoy an outdoor date in the daytime. Instead of Nirvana, Mi Young takes the stage outdoors as she confidently sings in front of a crowd, looking as though her fears and crippling stage fright are now behind her.
Meanwhile, Seok Chul remains a steadying presence as he supports Mi Young by watching her fondly from the sidelines.
After her successful performance, the couple gazes lovingly into one another’s eyes as Seok Chul affectionately strokes Mi Young’s hair and embraces her.
The drama’s production team commented, “Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young, who shared their wounds from the past, remain each other’s source of comfort. In Episodes 5 and 6, which air today (August 1), Park Seok Chul and Kang Mi Young will make viewers’ hearts flutter by getting much closer.”
They went on to add, “You can also look forward to the suspense and tension created by Kang Tae Hoon, who has completely fallen for Kang Mi Young.”
The next two episodes of “The Nice Guy” will air on August 1 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
