A remake of the Canadian series of the same name, MBC’s “Mary Kills People” stars Lee Bo Young as Woo So Jung, a doctor who illegally provides euthanasia to patients with incurable illnesses.

The previous episode of “Mary Kills People” revealed a shocking twist: Jo Hyun Woo (Lee Min Ki), a terminally ill patient for whom Woo So Jung had developed feelings, turned out to actually be undercover detective Ban Ji Hoon. After setting out to help Jo Hyun Woo with assisted death, Woo So Jung noticed that there was something amiss and just barely managed to escape being arrested.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming fourth episode, Ban Ji Hoon shows up at Woo So Jung’s hospital with a search warrant and several other police officers in tow. Feeling hurt and betrayed by Ban Ji Hoon’s deception, Woo So Jung glares fiercely at Ban Ji Hoon, who averts his gaze and looks away.
Later, as they face one another in front of the emergency room, Ban Ji Hoon offers Woo So Jung some sincere advice, which she counters with a cynical smile.
