The poster of the video, a Paris-based photographer named Amar Taoualit, claimed to have seen the two together by accident, and was criticized over his reasoning. Taoualit is now facing criticism again connected to the alleged couple.
BTS’s V recently spent time in Paris for the city’s Fashion Week event as an ambassador for Celine. Due to his fame, the idols comings and goings were often documented by paparazzi, including Taoualit.

On a video shared by the photographer, a netizen asked for him to “catch” V with Jennie again, to which Tauoalit responded that “we will try again next time.”
Many fans were outraged over the admission of planning to stalk V in the hopes of catching him on a date, organizing efforts to have his account at least removed.
