“Divorce is not a flaw, but lying is.”
KOYOTE’s Shinji and her fiancé, singer MoonOne, have been a hot issue in Korea since they first announced their wedding news.

Recently, a lawyer who has been through a divorce expressed sincere concern about their marriage. They especially urged a cautious approach considering MoonOne belatedly revealed his divorce and child.
On July 2, attorney Lee Ji Hoon held a live broadcast on YouTube, pointing out reasons for opposing the marriage.
“I’m not trying to criticize her choice, but rather give her advice out of concern.
Most people ignore strong feelings during the marriage process and eventually end up in conflict and divorce. This is my experience. The process blows their lives away.”

The lawyer also questioned MoonOne’s statement, “I didn’t know she was this famous.”

They questioned the statement’s credibility, saying that it was essentially the same thing as saying, “I didn’t know you were this rich.”
They felt that although he seemed to emphasize the purity of his love for one woman, it didn’t seem pure or make sense.
They also pointed out that MoonOne is not disclosing his history of divorce and children from the beginning.
Most of the divorce-related cases I’ve handled follow this pattern. In the beginning, they hide it, and then they find out about it, and the marriage proceeds. Divorce is not a flaw, but lying is.
