KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Walking on Thin Ice” has shared a new glimpse of Kim Young Kwang’s complex character!
“Walking on Thin Ice” will tell the story of the dangerous partnership between Kang Eun Soo (Lee Young Ae), a mother desperate to protect her family, and Lee Kyung (Kim Young Kwang), a teacher who secretly leads a double life.
By day, Lee Kyung is a popular after-school art teacher who graduated from a prestigious university. At the middle school attended by Eun Soo’s daughter Soo Ah, the seemingly sweet and caring Lee Kyung is beloved by the female students.
However, by night, Lee Kyung moonlights as a mysterious club MD whose name, age, and true identity are unknown. When he receives a business proposal from Eun Soo, Lee Kyung hides their parent-teacher relationship and enters a dangerous partnership with her.
The newly released stills of Lee Kyung capture the stark contrast between his warm, innocent image as an art teacher and the cold, intimidating aura he exudes at night. Not only his style, but even his expressions and vibe are completely different.
“Actor Kim Young Kwang delicately captured everything from the sharp edge hidden behind [Lee Kyung’s] sunny smile to the cold tension he exudes when facing danger,” said the drama’s production team. “Lee Kyung’s story, which alternates between night and day, light and shadow, will deliver thrilling suspense that you won’t be able to tear your eyes away from.”
