The late Kim Sae Ron’s former manager, “K,” has filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Kwon Young Chan for defamation and insult.
Over the past few months, Kwon has raised suspicions on his YouTube channel regarding “K,” including “embezzlement of hospital fees” and” grooming.” K has responded, “These are false facts, and there will be no leniency.”
“K” filed a complaint against Kwon Young Chan to the Seocho Police Station on June 19 under the Information and Communications Network Act.
I have never visited the hospital since the deceased’s wrist suture surgery last November, and have not had any private transactions with the hospital. I thought Kwon would stop the false broadcast, but it continued for over three months, and I could not hold it in anymore.

Previously, Kwon claimed that he filed a complaint against “K” on behalf of the bereaved family for public interest purposes.
Kwon claimed that “a month after Kim Sae Ron’s death on March 14, there was an outpatient treatment record at the hospital under the deceased’s name. This is information that is inaccessible to anyone other than immediate family.”
Kwon also raised suspicion of embezzlement saying, “After her surgery in November, he paid 5,400,000 KRW ($~3,909.71 USD), then canceled it and paid 4,980,000 KRW ($~3,605.63 USD), which is strange.”
To this, “K” refuted the claims.
Kim Sae Ron didn’t have insurance, so the surgery fee was close to 500man. The deceased said the hospital fee was 5,000,000 KRW ($~3,620.11 USD), and there was nothing strange other than her going to the hospital to pay it in a hurry. Please reveal specific evidence for your allegations. Otherwise, I will hold you legally responsible to the end.

In addition, Kwon also claimed that “K” had a special relationship with Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, GOLD MEDALIST, and that he groomed the deceased based on this.
This is not true at all. I don’t even know the company’s contact information. If you are going to talk about public interest, shouldn’t it at least be based on facts? There is no truth in Kwon’s claims.

An official from Kim Sae Ron’s former agency also stood up for “K”.
Although ‘K’ resigned last year, he is an honest and sincere person. He cared for Kim Sae Ron more than anyone else, and the allegations of embezzlement and pressure to drink are untrue.

The hospital also denied Kwon’s claims.
We have confirmed the content of Kwon’s broadcast, and the medical records and payment mentioned are all groundless. Although not officially confirmed yet, we will take the necessary measures as soon as it is confirmed.
