There have been numerous updates.
Recently, many were surprised by Ju Haknyeon‘s sudden expulsion from THE BOYZ. The news came days after the idol was announced to be on hiatus.

Since then, the ongoing case has had multiple developments and new details, meaning some may need a full breakdown of what has been revealed.
Initial Hiatus And Departure
On June 16, One Hundred Label announced that Haknyeon would go on hiatus due to “personal reasons” that were not mentioned then. A short time later, News1, which received the news from Shūkan Bunshun, claimed that the hiatus was caused by Haknyeon’s meeting at a bar with a former adult video actress and now influencer named Asuka Kirara.

It was then announced that Haknyeon was no longer a member of THE BOYZ, following an investigation by One Hundred Label. Hours later, TenAsia reported that insiders stated that Haknyeon had Asuka Kirara for sex.
Haknyeon Speaks Out
Haknyeon then released his first statement on the matter, firmly denying the allegations of prostitution, but admitting to being at a gathering with alcohol. Hakyeon’s second statement called out the agency for terminating his contract without agreement, and stated that he had not left the group.
He also revealed that the agency had allegedly demanded a large amount in damages, and his desire to take action.

One Hundred addressed this statement, mentioning the specific reason for his contract’s termination, while also stating that Haknyeon made “false claims.” The idol seemingly responded to this by sharing proof that he was pursuing legal action against the reporter who broke the alleged prostitution claims.

On June 21, Asuka Kirara spoke up for the first time since the allegations, firming denying that she engaged in prostitution.
Shūkan Bunshun And Dispatch
Shortly after, Shūkan Bunshun, revealed photos that had been sold to them, allegedly showing Haknyeon and Asuka Kirara together.

Dispatch then released its own expose, giving the alleged full details of the scandal. According to Dispatch, Haknyeon initially was with a group before heading to Asuka Kirara’s home, then returning to THE BOYZ’s housing.
Allegedly, Haknyeon told the label that he “did not pay” for something unspecified, while an alleged member of THE BOYZ’s staff claimed that he “bragged” about sleeping with Asuka Kirara to the other members. Haknyeon allegedly agreed to leave the group, before changing his mind.
