i-dle’s Minnie is stepping onto the big screen for the first time!
On August 12, Cube Entertainment announced that Minnie has been cast as the female lead in the Thai remake of the beloved Hollywood romantic comedy “50 First Dates.”
Originally released in 2004, “50 First Dates” tells the heartwarming story of Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore), who struggles with anterograde amnesia, and Henry Roth (Adam Sandler), a marine veterinarian who falls for her at first sight.
In this remake, Minnie will bring the female lead to life, acting alongside Nadech Kugimiya, a top Thai actor and model known for his roles in the 2019 Thai adaptation of “My Love from the Star” and last year’s hit Thai film “Death Whisperer 2.”
Filming is set to begin this October.
