Dating rumors surrounding Girl’s Day’s Hyeri and dancer Woo Tae began circulating on July 1, 2025, and quickly drawing attention from fans and media alike.
According to an exclusive report from MyDaily, the two have allegedly been in a relationship for about a year.
The pair is said to have first met while filming the dance-focused movie Victory, where Hyeri played the lead role and Woo Tae worked as the film’s choreographer. They reportedly grew closer during long hours of choreography practice and continued seeing each other after production wrapped and they returned to Seoul.
While the news came as a surprise to some, many fans quickly turned their attention to the apparent similarities between Woo Tae and Hyeri’s former boyfriend, actor Ryu Jun Yeol.

The reactions come months after a major scandal involving Ryu Jun Yeol and actress Han So Hee. Hyeri and Ryu, who dated publicly for several years, were confirmed to have broken up in 2023. Not long after, Ryu was linked to Han So Hee, sparking widespread backlash and speculation over the timeline of the relationships.
In response to the new dating rumors, Hyeri’s agency Sublime gave a short statement to Sports Seoul, saying, “We are currently checking the facts.” As of now, no confirmation has been made by either party.
