Even her fellow choreographer Aiki joined in the exposé.
In the latest episode of her YouTube show, singer-turned-actress Hyeri revealed the actual personality of celebrity choreographer Lee Jung, best known for her role as a star member of the YGX crew.
On June 13, KST, Lee appeared as a special guest on Hyell’s Club, along with another popular dancer-choreographer, Aiki.
During the episode, Aiki started praising Lee Jung, stating that she leaned on her junior a lot while filming World Of Street Woman Fighter. “If Lee Jung hadn’t been there, I think it would have been way harder,” she admitted.
Aiki went on to explain that Lee’s objective approach to things, combined with her “talent” of putting it across without hurting feelings, helped her quite a lot during this journey.
Hyeri agreed and added, “Lee Jung might seem all wild…but she’s super polite.” The actress explained that Lee “plays up this tough image on purpose” but in reality, “she treats her unnies with so much respect.”
As a dancer, Lee Jung has built up a carefree and badass image, but underneath it, her sensitivity and communication skills speak the loudest.
Aiki and Hyeri also talked about how Lee Jung’s temperament completely switches up when she is on camera. When she walked into the set with her loud and cheerful energy, Hyeri teased, “You’ve gotten way cockier!” Aiki quipped, “She’s like this every time she’s on a show. Her on-off switch is intense.”
Hyeri then explained that in real life, Lee was much more serious, but on camera, her personality completely switches. The dancer herself confessed, “I don’t usually act like this, but don’t know what happens.”
It turns out, the dancer really knows how to cater to different audiences without ever sacrificing her authenticity.
