Many fans remarked that they also did so.
While the industry has become more open with discussions of mental health, it is still rare. Idols speaking up about their struggles can positively affect other stars and fans who see it as normalizing the topic.

Recently, a popular HYBE idol openly spoke about taking anti-anxiety medication.
In late June, KATSEYE released their first mini album, Beautiful Chaos, following their debut full album.

In preparation for their comeback, the group has been promoting in various ways, including interviews. One such interview was with mixed feelings, as the group discussed several topics, including some outside of the usual interview questions.

When the interviewer asked the group their most “unhinged” coping mechanism, Megan responded, “Lexapro.”
Lexapro, also known as escitalopram, is a medication used to treat depression and generalized anxiety disorder. It is one of the most commonly prescribed medications for the two disorders, increasing the amount of serotonin in the brain to help regulate mood and emotions. After Sophia questions what Lexapro is, Megan explains that she takes it as an anti-anxiety medication.
