Netizens are baffled.
Recently, SM’s rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts released the first set of teaser images for their new song, “STYLE,” and garnered much attention online.

The photos in question gave off purikura (photo sticker booth) vibes that are popular in Japan.

With this, many Japanese citizens expressed frustration that they were imitating their culture.
Korean netizens were baffled that they were furious over a trend that was popular also in Korea.

- “What are they talking about. This was a trend in Korea, too. Why are they taking it out on these girl groups.”
- “Why are they getting mad over nothing?”
- “They are discriminating the most, yet they go around taking 4-cut photos and eating Korean food.”
- “F*ck off.”
- “You all shouldn’t mention or eat kimchi then.”
