She revealed that when she first told her mother, a fashion designer and entrepreneur, she initially didn’t want her to go down the same path. However, her mother eventually opened a small shop for her in Seoul.
Her business was successful in the beginning; however, after she switched to expensive clothing, customers did not respond well.
She needed funds to buy inventory and borrowed a large sum from a loan shark she thought was her close friend. This ended up being one of the biggest crises in her business life.
When the repayment was delayed, the loan shark started to threaten her. Desperate for help, she asked her mother for help, but her mother intentionally did not help her.
Amid the crisis, she went to Dongdaemun and gradually rebuilt her business by receiving a small amount of clothes on credit, selling them, and paying off the credit with the profits.
Meanwhile, she married a younger non-celebrity man in 2020 and is currently living a successful businesswoman’s life.
