A Japan-based company is currently in hot water over extreme allegations of workplace bullying.
Neo Corporation, a company that sells electric and energy-saving equipment, had a lawsuit filed against it in March 2025 by five former employees who made claims of verbal abuse and power harassment.
One worker claimed that those who underperformed were forced to take nude photos of themselves. This underperformance, allegedly not making one sale a day, was also punished by the distribution of nude pictures to other employees. The worker claims the boss sent them a screenshot to prove it had been done.
Additionally, employees were also at risk of sexual harassment, according to the same employee. He claimed that one of his superiors would routinely grab him by the testicles and squeeze as a form of punishment.

The employee has since shared that he has been diagnosed with adjustment disorder and depression.
Other claims included forced unpaid overtime, severe penalties for traffic violations exceeding 6 million yen (around 42,000 USD), and sales commission being deducted. The company has denied all claims as the five former employees seek legal damages of 19 million yen (around 132,000 USD).
