He’s made his solo music and acting debuts!

When THE BOYZ initially debuted, the group consisted of twelve members.
Less than two years after their debut, it was announced that Hwall would no longer be a group member. His departure was due to health issues, as his ankle prevented him from fully participating in the group’s previous release.
The following year, Hwall, now going by the name Hyunjun, made his official solo debut with “Baragi.” That same year, it was announced he would also debut as an actor, appearing in the BL (boy love) series Color Rush.
This series proved popular and attracted much attention on the solo artist as he released a few more singles in 2021 and 2022. Hyunjun did not appear in any other series or rerelease music until 2024, with the release of “Backseat.”
Recently, Hyunjun shocked many who were familiar with him in the past with his sexy appearance!
On June 4-6, 2025 WATERBOMB Seoul took place with many popular idols taking the stage.
Hyunjun was included on the opening day’s line-up, wearing an unbuttoned button-up shirt to show off his physique as he performed.
A TikTok showing more of his performance was shared, and went viral with over two hundred thousand views. Fans watching also commented their surprise, referring to him with his old name and not familiar with his current look.
