HYBE has released a strong and detailed statement following the shocking incident involving a woman who illegally attempted to enter BTS Jungkook’s home earlier this month.
The statement, shared through fan platform Weverse, outlines not only the agency’s firm legal stance on privacy violations but also their ongoing cooperation with police to ensure the intruder faces appropriate criminal punishment.
According to BIGHIT MUSIC, the woman — identified as a Chinese national in her 30s — was caught trying to access Jungkook’s home in Yongsan, Seoul, on June 11, the same day he was discharged from the military. She was seen repeatedly pressing the passcode at the front door before being reported and arrested on the spot. The woman reportedly told police she had traveled to Korea specifically to see Jungkook after his discharge.

They further emphasized that all actions threatening BTS members’ safety or personal lives — including stalking — would be met with zero tolerance. In cases of stalking, immediate police reports and restraining order requests are being filed.
While the statement also addressed malicious comments, defamation, and false information targeting BTS members online, noting that several legal complaints have been filed, it’s the home intrusion incident and HYBE’s firm response that are currently making headlines.
