HYBE and BIG HIT Music are in hot water for their lack of promotions for BTS‘s Jin.
Jin will kick off his solo tour #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR on June 28 and 29 at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang. After, he will embark on his tour of 18 shows that include cities in Japan, USA, and Europe.

However, fans are criticizing BIG HIT Music for their lack of promotions: HYBE and BIG HIT’s official social media accounts began promoting Jin’s tour with only a few days until the first concert.
If the company doesn’t promote the tour on all platforms, how are people supposed to know about it?
They don’t even make the slightest effort to hide how they sabotage anything related to JinBIGHIT RESPECT JIN

Additionally, HYBE promoted a theater screening of BTS’s online concert MOTS ON:E from five years ago scheduled on the same day as Jin’s Japan concert. The MOTS ON:E screening was announced first, causing fans to buy tickets for the show and later on learn that Jin’s live viewing occurs on one of the same days.
this is seokjin’s first ever solo concert but the screening of an old bts concert happening on the same day as run seokjin japan live viewing was the one that got announced first

This all follows the recent controversy of Jin’s “Epiphany” video clips being omitted in BTS’s Festa video.
WHERE IS “EPIPHANY” by JIN?
In the video used for Festa, only one person is missing. If it is not an intentional omission, please correct it immediately and apologize for the repeated editing mistakes and promise to prevent them from happening again.@BIGHIT_MUSIC… pic.twitter.com/OPceiymQYU

Netizens commented on the mistreatment of Jin’s tour and solo activities.
- “The main issue seems to be that there’s less than a week until the concert and the company still hasn’t done any promotion. That’s definitely a problem.”
- “Just looking at the original post, it’s no wonder fans are angry. The company either isn’t working at all or is doing things really weirdly.”
- “Fans have every right to be upset. Promoting a concert is basic stuff, and if the company isn’t doing their job properly, of course people are going to be mad.”
- “Since the company’s not doing anything, only the members and fans are scrambling. Telling us not to talk about this on a fan forum is like saying we should eat with just a spoon and no chopsticks.”
- “Of course fans are mad—what do you expect? Jin’s the one who constantly gets left out.”
- “HYBE is just terrible at their job. Seems like they barely have any proper entertainment staff. They’ve just filled the place with people from the gaming industry who are obsessed with making money.”
- “Haven’t there always been tons of complaints about Jin getting left out? Even if you’re not a BTS fan, anyone who follows idols would know that. HYBE is seriously messed up.”
