It came after a vague announcement fueled speculations online.
Earlier, G-Dragon announced the cancellation of the Bangkok leg of his 2025 “Übermensch” world tour. Because the initial announcement included no clear explanation of what caused the cancellation, speculations ran wild…

…as well as criticism toward his management, Galaxy Corporation, for mishandling the concert preparation overall.

- “So the ticket sales for the Bangkok concert hasn’t even started yet. This probably isn’t a booking issue… Ugh, the current agency isn’t even an entertainment company. It’s an AI tech company or something, so they’re seriously terrible at handling this world tour. Fans all over the world are pissed, saying the tour management is even worse than YG Entertainment’s. They keep booking small venues and just endlessly adding extra dates and stuff—without giving any clear reasons in their announcements. They keep coming up with these package deals but release very few tickets for the early presale. And then, G-Dragon ends up finding out afterward, apologizing, and saying he’ll make it more accessible next time, LOL. Fans keep begging them to release the tour schedule in advance so they can actually plan, but they never listen and only announce it like two months ahead. Like I just hope this tour is the last thing they do together…”
- “So the local promoter isn’t handling GD’s Thailand concert? I thought that’s how things were done in Southeast Asia. But I guess it’s lucky they hadn’t started ticketing yet, LOL.”
- “This is insane.”
- “The agency knows it’s their fault, so they’re staying quiet, LOL. The cancellation rumors were going around forever, and now they finally make an announcement. Great job, LMAO.”
- “They must’ve considered average weather and conditions when they planned it, and the concert’s still far off—so it’s hard to believe heat is the real reason. Probably something personal going on behind the scenes.”
- “The CEO is too busy using G-Dragon’s name to get the company listed on the stock exchange. He just follows the tour around, handling things terribly—it’s infuriating.”
- “Even this fandom, which is known for never protesting, ended up organizing a truck protest this time.”
- “If it was about the heat, they would’ve listed it as the reason in the first place.”
- “I think they might have announced the concert dates before actually securing the venue. Then when the contract fell through, they delayed ticketing and eventually had to cancel it… LOL. Bangkok has both Rajamangala Stadium and the National Stadium, but it seems like neither worked out?”
Then, on July 11, 2025 (KST), Galaxy Corporation added in an additional statement that the extreme heat and safety concerns were the “unforeseen circumstances” mentioned.

This cancellation was due to the unprecedented and record-breaking heatwave, which has led to ongoing cases of heatstroke. Given that the Rajamangala National Stadium is an outdoor venue, the decision was made in light of these conditions. The health and safety of fans was our top priority in making this decision.

The agency expressed sincere apologies, stating, “We will announce the new venue and rescheduled date as soon as possible, avoiding the heatwave and rainy season to ensure safety.” Since ticket sales had not yet begun, no refund process is necessary at this time.
