Belgian TV personality Julian Quintart is set to walk down the aisle this coming October. According to a Star News exclusive on June 28, Julian will be holding a private wedding ceremony in Seoul with his non-celebrity fiancée. The bride-to-be is a Korean woman five years younger than him. The couple reportedly met through mutual acquaintances and have been in a relationship for over three and a half years.
Speaking to Star News, Julian shared his excitement.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I recently attended a friend’s wedding, and it was such a happy moment. Since this is a major event in my life, I want to prepare it as stress-free as possible. We share similar tastes, especially in music. I was drawn not only to her looks but also her warmth and family-oriented nature. She gets along so well with my family, too.”
Family and friends from his hometown in Belgium are expected to attend the ceremony. Some of his fellow castmates from JTBC’s Abnorml Summit, the show that made him a household name in Korea, are also expected to be there.
Julian added that they may host a smaller wedding in Belgium during their honeymoon as well.
“We’re planning to go on our honeymoon next year when the weather is nice, somewhere in Europe. Since some of my family members can’t attend the ceremony in Korea, we’re also considering holding a smaller wedding in Belgium during our trip.”
Julian first rose to fame in Korea in 2014 as the Belgian representative on JTBC’s variety talk show Abnormal Summit. Since then, he has appeared on various popular programs such as Off to School, I Can See Your Voice, Real Men, and more. He has also worked as a model and DJ, and more recently, he has been active as an environmental advocate, giving talks and promoting sustainability.
