He was with the agency for a while.
A beloved actor who was once managed by YG Entertainment recently opened up about his unpleasant departure from the label.
The actor in question is Joo Woo Jae, best known for his performance in Strong Girl Nam Soon and a regular cast member of Hangout With Yoo.

In the July 5 broadcast of Hangout With You, the cast members started talking about their respective management agencies. When Joo was asked about the agency he was signed to, he revealed that he had recently signed with CAM.
Given the high reputation of CAM, Joo’s fellow cast member Jung Jae Hyung exclaimed, “That’s the hottest agency right now!” The others also joined in the teasing, asking him how he got into such an agency when he wasn’t even a singer.
Joo Woo Jae also responded playfully, protesting, “It’s not like I forced my way in!” But Jung Jae Hyung kept pressing him, asking about his former agency, YG Entertainment.
He then replied, dropping a bombshell, “I was kicked out of YG. Do you think I left on my own?”
Joo explained that the company dissolved its actor management department, and hence, he had no choice but to leave. However, after leaving YG Entertainment, he talked with several other agencies and finally decided on CAM.
This unusual confession from Joo Woo Jae has become a hot topic, giving viewers a rare insight into how internal reconstructions at major entertainment labels can shake up the careers of even the most popular faces. However, Joo’s continued rise in his career even after such a drastic change has won him high praise from netizens.
