According to OSEN’s report on June 23, BABYMONSTER members Ahyeon and Asa will appear on ‘Running Man‘ in anticipation of their July comeback. They will be joined by actress Joo Hyun-young as a guest. The episode featuring them is scheduled to air on July 6.
Ahyeon, Asa, and Joo Hyun-young have been filming with the ‘Running Man‘ cast since the morning of the recording day. While Joo Hyun-young has previously appeared on ‘Running Man‘ multiple times due to her connection with Ji Ye-eun, this marks the first appearance for Ahyeon and Asa. BABYMONSTER members Rami and Rora appeared on the show in November last year, but this time, Ahyeon and Asa will showcase their variety show skills. Previously, Rami and Rora expressed their fandom for the show, saying, “We’re Running Kids. We’ve watched every episode of ‘Running Man’ since the first one,” raising expectations for what Ahyeon and Asa will bring to the table.
Additionally, BABYMONSTER is set to make a comeback with their pre-release single HOT SAUCE on July 1. YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk described the track as “a highly addictive hip-hop song reminiscent of the mid-to-late 1980s,” prepared as a “gift to enjoy this summer,” heightening anticipation among music fans.
Joo Hyun-young is also gearing up for the release of her film Ghost Train on July 2. Known for her exceptional chemistry with the ‘Running Man‘ cast and even being recommended as a temporary member, Joo Hyun-young’s appearance is expected to draw significant attention.
Meanwhile, the episode of SBS’s Running Man featuring the three guests will air on July 6. Running Man broadcasts every Sunday at 6:10 PM KST.
