There was almost a consensus.
Youngseo, a former HYBE idol, recently made her re-debut in the industry as a part of the co-ed group ALLDAY.

Youngseo was originally part of the debut lineup of ILLIT, but in January 2024, she left the group and terminated her contract with BELIFT LAB. Ultimately, ILLIT debuted with five members in March 2024 with the smash hit “Magnetic.”
In terms of their concepts, ILLIT and ALLDAY couldn’t be farther apart. While the former has a bright, energetic, and fairy-like theme, the latter has showcased a dark, grungy, and rugged energy in their debut track “Famous.”
With her re-debut in ALLDAY, Youngseo recently sparked a heated discussion on Korean online forums. Netizens compared which group best suited her aesthetic, and almost all the comments unanimously chose ALLDAY.

- “As soon as Youngseo’s voice came out, the song came to life.”
- “She suits the group f*cking well. She kind of balances out the gyopo (Korean diaspora) vibe of the group, and I like it so much. Better than ILLIT.”
- “F*cking pretty.”
- “I agree. Since she performed ‘Shut Down’ on R U Next? I felt like she was better suited for a hip concept way more than those frilly lace outfits. Her pair choreography with Jo Woochan is amazing.”
- “It was the best decision for Youngseo to leave ILLIT. If she had stayed, she would be doing stuff like ‘Umchit-doong-nyang’ or ‘Tick-tick-tack-tack.’ I think I would’ve had a mental breakdown.”
